Lum reported to Abner by long distance phone yesterday that his efforts to get Ellie Connors now Mary Edwards, paroled from the state reformatory are moving along a just  little more slowly than expected and that he wouldn't return until Monday. Meanwhile squire Skimp has been asking far too many questions about Mary for Abner's peace of mind.
