Lamont Cranston and Margo are at Dr Grant’s home admiring his Egyptian relics when a stone is thrown through the window with a strange note attached which said, I>remember Egypt – tomb - he who was dead is returning – and the votes were cast – remind you of our duty. The signature was a drawing of a spider. Grant, concerned about receiving this note now tells them about the time twenty years ago when he had personally been exposed to an ancient curse.
