When Woseen Devaux came in to the café Tambourine asking for a job as a singer Rocky Jordan decided to try some entertainment. All Woseen asked was a weeks trial and a little salary advance to keep her going. It was a good move and the customers kept coming. Things went swell until the fourth night at about 10 o’clock when a big guy named Ralph Garnet caused trouble by trying it on with Miss Devaux.
