Damascus, the capital of Syria, has a population of 300,000 or so. They say Damascus is the oldest city in the world that people still live in. Going back to a hot, Wednesday afternoon, Chris was at the bar serving up some Arrack, and Rocky stood at the front of the cafe, looking out on to the Cairo streets. That's when an old man, dressed in a postal uniform and riding a bicycle stopped in front of the Tamborine. When he came in, he was carrying a white envelope in his hand - the note inside was addressed from 'The Man from Damascus...'
