The Man Who Played God is an inspiring drama of a sensitive man, concert pianist Montgomery Royal fighting to come to terms with a physical handicap after he is rendered deaf in a bomb attack. He realises he is adept at lip reading and as a joke on God, who has played this cruel joke on him, he anonymously helps people who he sees talking in the park below his apartment. However it is his ability to lip read that makes him finally realises that a man cannot play god.

This is a very moving story.

Play written by Joules Eckert Goodman.
