Eddie Welch was a young man who enjoyed his work. He loved every moment of it as he sat before the microphone high on the roof of Crandall’s department store his voice booming out over the public address system directing the attendant of the movement of the parking spaces in the car park below. It pleased Eddie to run the lot from his lofty perch on the roof of the department store.
