It was clearly a mistake a perfectly natural understandable mistake that could have happened to anyone and it happened to Wally Layton. But he wasn’t yet aware of that mistake as he strolled out of the North Beach restaurant the trench coat draped over his arm, and walked back to the parking lot. As he approached his car Wally reached in to the coat pocket for his keys and a strange puzzled expression crossed his face as he withdrew an unsealed envelope, opened it and discovered a lot of money folded neatly inside the envelope…
