Yesterday Dick Huddleston and Cedric, believing that Abner's dog was trying to lead someone to Lum and Abner, followed the dog to the entrance of an old abandoned silver mine in the hills. Dick became convinced that they were trapped in the mine, in as much as there were signs of a cave-in, and immediately rounded up a group of men to start digging. Right now, we find the rescue team still trying to clear a passage into the old mine...
