Well the old fellows received quite a shock when the sergeant they hired through employment service arrived the other day. Sergeant V M Hartford, whom they had given a six month guarantee and the general manager-ship of the store turned out to be  Sergeant Viola Hartford and she was determined to run the store regimentally and set strict working hours for Lum and Abner who are now feeling overworked!
