It was evening, and the Lone Ranger and his Indian companion, Tonto, had pitched camp in the hills outside the small, western town of Rocky Hill. The two men were preparing supper, as they discussed the purpose of coming to this section of the west. They needed to get word to the Sheriff why they were there, after being sent by the Marshal in Pecos to track down an outlaw gang who were operating in the vicinity.
