The rush to the Yukon was just getting underway when Lee Swanson finished college as a geologist. Lee and his young wife Sadie, saw a golden opportunity in the Yukon, but after two weeks in the boomtown of Dawson, they began to doubt their wisdom in coming to the Yukon, though neither admitted it to the other until one day, when Lee returned to their boarding home with a pile of laundry under his arm.
