It’s been a long day and things were busy at the water department but it’s over now and the commissioner homeward plods his weary way. As he comes up the front walk, dusk is falling and the windows are aglow. Stepping over an upturned rake and kicking aside Leroy’s roller skates he enters the house and pauses to survey a pretty picture of contentment.
