George McGill is a political journalist who falls in love with the photographer he works with, Ariel Harvey. However, he was not aware that she was the bosses daughter and when he finds out he doesn't want anything to do with her believing that she would never give up her high life to be with him. He's wrong of course but Ariel has to go to desperate measures to prove it to him.
