Father is home alone at the Foster house, when suddenly the door opens, and Judy enters with her friend Barbara. The two girls, and Judy's twelve year old brother, Randolph, have just been to the matinee today, to see 'Love In The Slums', about a tragedy in the tenements. Randolph wouldn't walk home with them though - because he didn't want anyone out of the streets to see that he knew them - since they were so embarrassing during the movie...
