The show starts from high in the air - from the top of a small, closed in tower, at a forest ranger station at Mirror Lake in the north woods of Minnesota, where John Fritzen, who served 39 years with the Minnesota Division of Forestry, and was superintendent of the Jay Cooke State Park from 1932-1936, is interviewed about being a forest ranger.
