The Shamrock Hotel is the setting for today's show, and the Quiz Kids have been especially transported to the largest city in the largest state on a Douglas DC-6 plane. Jam packed into the Emerald Room of the Shamrock Hotel, there is a huge audience waiting for one of the Quiz Kids to receive a little brown Colt from rancher Montie Richie; as well as a special appearance on the show from Glenn McCarthy, the hotel's owner.
