Lum managed to get the firm of Edwards and Peabody out of the owl business even faster than Abner got them in to it  and now not a single feather is left in place of their business. In spite of losing the goodwill and business of the ladies wood craft and feathered friend club, Lum is still trying to promote his greeting card enterprise.
