Astronomers Edwards and Sloane are working hard to raise money for their proposed observatory. They have selected a hill near the schoolhouse as the site of the observatory and Professor Sloane has already drawn up a set of plans for the building. As we look in on the little community today we find the old fellows in the story and library, Abner is looking at the drawings.
