It is the story of Miss Liza Elliott who is editor of the famous magazine, Allure, the house organ of triumphant femininity and Liza Elliott was the editor and oracle of this magazine, its brain and driving spirit. But none of it gave her any satisfaction whatsoever as her doctor and psychoanalyst Dr. Brook noted. Despite everything in her life seeming perfect and while physically well, Liza knows that something is wrong and she can't put her finger on it.
