At 9am on a Spring morning in 1955, a lone bandit held up the Summerville National Bank and drove off in a waiting car. The descriptions of the bandit varied since he wore dark glasses and a hat pulled low on his head. Later in the day, the car which had been stolen, was found in an empty lot with several money bags from the bank in the front seat. In one of the bags, for some unexplained reason, there was a Chinese good luck piece - all that was left of the bank's $48,000...
