Marshal Matt Dillon and Chester prevent two men from lynching a man who turns out to be a wanted man named Pete Brass. When Brass’s men arrive in Dodge to get Brass out of jail they discover that Matt is sweet on Kitty and hatch a plan to kidnap Kitty and trade her for Brass.
