King Rawlings lived on his own exotic island near Cuba. He had taken a policy out on a necklace worth quarter of a million dollars, which was due for renewal. However he reported that someone had unsuccessfully tried to break in to his safe and steal it. The insurance company were concerned following rumors of King Rawlings dwindling financial position and called Johnny Dollar to investigate.
