Jerry Bates and Jim Madison are two yanks in Kimberley, a South African town, in the year 1910. They arrived there to try their luck in strikin' it rich in the diamond rush. Their current financial situation has led to a little pickpocketing here and there, as well as being pretty wily with some card games, which has won them a diamond claim from nice old guy called Bert Patterson.
