In an effort to recover a stolen baby, Nick Carter and his secretary Patsy call an office occupied by a crook named Arnold. Arnold aided by Dutch, another member of the gang overpowers them and locks them in an airtight vault built in to the wall of the office. 

Knowing that suffocation threatens them in a very few minutes, Patsy becomes panicky
