Kid Galahad is a young ambitious bellhop who becomes a heavyweight fighter. It all started in a New York hotel where fight promoter Nick Donati is giving one of his parties. Things are getting hot when they call down for some ice and Kid Galahad brings it up. A man is harassing Donati’s sister and Kid Galahad defends her honor by throwing the man a punch. It turns out that the man he has just dropped with one punch is the current world heavy weight champion.
