From the railroad station you could see the full length of the main street, three short blocks to where your gaze stopped its self on a brewery that glowered in the stare of an inquisitive moon. It wasn’t much after eight, yet only 15 or 20 cars lined the kerb most of them taking up space in a busy spot in front of a place called Finney’s Poolroom.
