Lum and Abner are trying to find a new hiding place for the recently recovered pearl. Lum has phoned the lawyer Mr. Walford to tell him they are ready to go ahead. Abner is not so sure about Mr. Walford but Lum thinks he's the right man and Lum describes himself as a good judge of human nature. But even a good judge of human nature can hand down a wrong opinion now and then!
