In Summerfield the drizzle that started this Friday afternoon and threatened to spoil the weekend turned suddenly to snow last night. Great feathery flakes floated down and spread a white blanket of silence over the whole town. The kids were up early this morning pelting each other and leaping and rolling and wallowing in it. When Gildersleeve woke and saw it one thing came instantly to his mind and apparently it had come to others the Jolly Boys planned to go on a sleigh ride!
