Dick Powell, of Richard Diamond fame, plays the same leading role that he did in the 1947 movie Johnny O’Clock. Lee J. Cobb also reprises his film role as Inspector Koch who is trying to track down bad cop Chuck Bladen who killed a man unnecessarily and who disappears after his ex girlfriend Harriet supposedly commits suicide.
