A man with initials on his briefcase that read JB but who says his name is not important wants to employ Richard Diamond as he has come highly recommended. JB tells Diamond that he is going to commit a murder and that he has the victim, the opportunity, the method and the man to handle the details but he wants to be sure that he is not tripped up by his lack of foresight of police procedures. Richard Diamond begins to ring the police but JB pulls a gun on him and locks him in the closet.
