Joe receives a call to come up to Blackie’s apartment and bring a canary, but not from Blackie. Bob is using Blackie’s apartment to convince Joe to use his pet shop for illegal gambling purposes but Joe refuses. Bob threatens Joe with a gun and in the ensuing wrangle the gun goes off.
