It’s nurse Joan Quinn’s second day at Blair General Hospital and her first job is working with Dr Kildare while nurse Diane is on two-week vacation. Dr Gillespie is extolling the virtues of married life and not leaving one’s personal affairs open to question and hinting that Dr Kildare ought to be thinking of marrying Diane. He is worried about beautiful and charming Joan Quinn working with Dr Kildare.
