Anne was the favorite singer at the Monte Carlo nightclub. She finds Sergeant Preston to tell him that someone has killed Dave Courtland as when she goes to his house he is not there but there is a bloodstain on the floor. Sergeant Preston wonders why she would jump to the conclusion that Dave had been murdered.
