An old woman in hospital is asked to sign a consent form for the operation she needs to save her life. However realising that she now has the decision whether to live or die she decides not to sign her consent as all her friends and family have passed away, she is considered too old for work and feels she has no purpose in this life. The doctor tries desperately to persuade her to change her mind as it is his job to save patients.
