Today's story has had many titles in the course of its translation. But if we were to give it a name, we'd call it "Designed for Laughter", because this is truly what this great comedy could be called. It was written by Nikolai Gogol, and is a brilliant satire on corrupt bureaucracy. It was looked upon with horror at the time of publishing, by the ruling politicians.
