The Lone Ranger and Tonto had been riding in the deep thicket of the hills bordering the Oregon Trail. Then for the first time that morning, they emerged into the open to look down upon the great path made by the pioneers in their endless journey westward. As their eyes swept the vast panorama beneath them, they stopped suddenly, riveted on a scene that caused them to bring their horses to an abrupt stop, and Tonto mutters "Indians on warpath again..."
