A playwright loses hegemony over his work as soon as a producer buys his play. The producer hires actors, a director, a designer, a manager, and the playright who started the whole thing, becomes a pallid spectator to the feverish activity that begins, both in the theater, and in the producer's office. It is in just such an office that our story begins... The playwright in this case, is demanding that her name be taken off the play, with only a few hours before the curtain is to rise!
