Marshall Matt Dillon and Chester received a telegraph that Ab Stringer is arriving in Dodge with a prisoner. However when Stringer arrives he is a friendly man who has no prisoner and tells Matt he is looking for Sam Fraser who has robbed a bank and killed a man. Kitty advises Matt he better watch Ab as Ab is the best natured lawman she has ever seen. Chester is also taken in by Ab’s jovial nature and is surprised when he turns out to be an impostor.
