In New York City, just off Times Square, there's a small, somewhat shabby, restaurant presided over by a sober, unsmiling waiter named Joe. Louise Ginglebusher chooses there for her lunch today, and after a shaky start, her and Joe become firm friends. Soon later she meets George Prescott, an honest lawyer, and a wonderful comedy ensues.
