Beautiful with a cool precise mind and in he late twenties Anne Barrie was unhappy with her position as private secretary to Roger Newhouse elderly owner of Classic Publishing Incorporated. But three months ago an unexpected opportunity arrived, her employer whose confidence in her had increased over the years departed on a six month vacation in Europe and left her in charge with full power of attorney to transact business and she abused that power by embezzling a large amount of money for her personal use.
