How to Impress the Waitress

Comedy duo Bob Elliot and Ray Goulding discuss at great length how it is possible to work up a story which two people could use if they so wished, to impress a waitress in a restaurant. I suppose it all boils down to using the expression of words in a form of story with which you could influence other people into thinking you were something or someone which you are not but at the same time not telling deliberate and downright lies. The art lies in doing it within earshot of the waitress and not in actual conversation, as demonstrated by Messrs Elliot and Goulding.
