Two professional gamblers arrive in Dodge and try to bribe Marshall Matt Dillon to turn an eye to their crooked gambling. He makes it clear that he won’t have any crooked gambling in his town. Later Matt is shot at in town and suspects it was the gamblers trying to scare him in to allowing them to run their crooked game.
