When two gamblers arrived in Dodge they sent word to Marshall Matt Dillon that they would like to have a word. Ben Quarter and Harry Duggan were business partners who whenever they went to a new town wanted to get to know who was running the place that way they figure there won’t be any misunderstanding later on. But they were crooked gamblers and Dillon put them straight that he was a lawman and not open to bribes.
