Empty religious practices are the most deadly hypocrisy the Christian church can know, and an easy habit to get in to, is to say all of the spiritual sounding prayers, using all of the usual words and expressions, and not mean a thing by your praying. Sometimes a Christian can slide into a kind of parrot religion and never even know he's done it. Repeating himself or others, or all of the same words or phrases, and all of the time the meaning is slipping away.
