Hold-Up starring Mr. Joseph Kearns is the story of a man who used a gun once too often. When a boy comes in to their store and holds him and his wife up Mr. Chase shoots the boy dead. Even though the thief is dead Mr. Chase shoots him a further four times. When the police turn up they discover that the boy wasn’t armed and the only thing in his pocket was a fountain pen. They also discover that this isn’t the first time that Mr. Chase has shot a hold-up man dead.
