Matinee Theater presents Hold Back The Dawn Paramount Pictures 1941 exciting romantic drama starring Charles Boyer. Georges Iscovescu is a Romanian immigrant who finds himself in Mexico after the war. He has been told he will have to wait eight years before he can enter the United States of America. When he meets American teacher Emmy Brown he sees her as a passport to America. He charms her and within hours they are married and he is allowed in the states in a matter of weeks. However Georges finds himself falling in love with Emmy.
