It was Friday night and traveling salesman Al was just thinking of getting home when it happened. He was thinking of his wife Helen and son Jack. He was tired and just wanted to get home when the boy ran out in front of the car. Al did not mean to hit him but he knew he had hit him hard. He saw him fly through the air but he did not see him hit the ground because he did not stop, he couldn’t stop, and he was shaking with fear.
