"I loved the infantry, because they were the underdogs. They had no comforts, and they learned to live without the necessities. In the end, they were the guys without whom the battle could not have been won."  Those words were written by Ernie Pyle, the famous correspondent, who wrote portraits of the common soldier, called Here's Your War.
