Heavenly Rest

Broadcast: January 25, 1940

Heavenly Rest is a hymn for lost Americans by Milton Wain. This is Mr. Wain's first radio drama. Through a series of realistic and impressionistic sequences he has sought to pictorialize the conditions and the attitudes of many thousands of young homeless Americans roaming aimlessly over our vast territories in the post depression years.

Mr. Wain is a native of Newark, New Jersey and graduate of Columbia University in the class of 1933
