Lum and Abner are now out of the show business. Last week they sold their circus to Squire Skimp for $1000 only to learn later that Squire had already made a deal to dispose of it for $4000 before he made them the offer. As we look in on our old friends today we find Lum back over at Pine Ridge down at the Jot ’em Down Store explaining to Dick Huddleston and Grand pappy Spears how Squire’s swindled them out of $3000.
